Nickname: “Mama Joan” is what these grown adult kids call me.
Fave color: Some days it’s the blue of the Caribbean or the sky or the water in a pool, some days it’s pure saturation magenta, and some days it’s that incredible shade of purple/lavender that turns up in the sky right before sunset. You get the picture — my favorite color changes as often as my mood and my surroundings. Don’t box me in.
Fave drink: Margaritas when I’m drinking, and bubble water laced with grapefruit juice and a smidge of honey when I’m not. And sadly, coca-cola when I Iet my sugar addiction get the best of me.
Fave holiday (official, or not): Christmas Eve, cuz my house is full of family and food and music.
