A Few of Our Favorite Things (in 2019)
There’s nothing quite like an end-of-the-year lookback. As this decade (!) comes to a close, the Swashers have been reminiscing about some positive events we experienced this year.
Here’s our list of Favorite Things in 2019...
Josh became a fellow of the Truman National Security Project!
We developed some cute ‘n’ fluffy new ad creative for DASF to help promote the nonprofit org during North Texas Giving Day.
Charlie got to see his fur babies in said DASF campaign^.
We continued time-honored Swash traditions like Fair Day, the Summer Reading competish, Swash-o-ween, Cheesegiving, and best if all – Christmas dinner at The Classic Cafe in Roanoke!
Josh was invited to speak at SXSW 2020 on the topic of “Democracy in the Era of Disinformation.”
We banded together and made two sweet Spotify playlists: summer jams and spooky songs.
Baby Yoda, Josh and Diana’s new kitten Cleo, and fountain pens.
Being able to spend time with our families.
We volunteered at Twilight Tunes in Downtown Denton.
We improved our Co-Lab structure. (Learn more about our Co-Lab Sessions.)
We redesigned the look and feel of our Media Measurement Planning Briefs.
We met a bunch of new people and pets this year.
We added more clients, more staffers, and more custom emojis on Slack.
We worked hard on us, by being better bloggers, developing our first printed brochure, and a lot of other stuff. We started weekly dev meetings to focus on this kind of work, too!
2019, you were pretty cool. 2020 – we’re ready!
